Nikon D300s Spotted at Best Buy

The Nikon D300s was made official last month and the next thing people are thinking is where to get it. Apparently it was Best Buy which had the first crack, selling the highly anticipated 720p/24 movie mode DSLR cam.

As we know, one thing that drives consumers to cameras these days is their ability to capture video, a feature that is conspicuously absent from the Canon Alpha line of DSLRs officially released yesterday. But before you go patting Nikon on the back, initial reviews hold that they are still far from an improvement from the previous models. A simple swing of the camera reveals that it still produces the same results (the jelly effect) seen on previous models like the Nikon D5000 and D90.
