The $600 price tag immediately suggests the fact that this is an entry level DSLR which is suitable for the amateur photographer deciding to turn pro. So don’t just go straight for the D300s. Choose the D3000 and you’ll learn more stuff about DSLR camera as you go along. The D3000 will get you a 10.2-megapixel sensor, 11-pointfocus system, a 230,000 pixel LCD and a 18-55 Nikkor VR lens.
