The COOLPIX S620 is a new Nikon camera. What can you expect from it? A 4x Zoom-NIKKOR lens with 28mm wide-angle coverage and macro shooting ability. The EXPEED digital image-processing concept we’ve just seen in the S230 is present in the S620 too.

The compact camera will be able to shoot pictures with light sensitivity settings of as high as ISO 6400. Combine that with noise reduction and you will get great pictures even in low-light or night settings.

Features like Quick Retouch, Motion Detection, Best Shot Selector, Scene Auto Selector and Subject Tracking, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, Blink Proof or Face detection will let you take better photos than those of your friends. With so many functions to help your picture, you will only have to press that button.

Other features you should be interested in are the 2.7-inch LCD monitor, the 12 megapixel image sensor, the 170-degree wide-viewing angle, the anti-reflection coating, the antifouling and water repellent layer and the screen brightness boost function.

The Nikon COOLPIX S620 will arrive in February 2009, so get ready to choose your Nikon later this month!
