In the wake of upcoming PMA 2008, there have been several discussions on whether Nikon’s upcoming launch will be the Nikon D90 or D80x. The D80 version of Nikon was launched during August 2006. It resembles D200 Camera. So, it is expected that the D90 or D80x will be similar to the Nikon D300. The guessed specifications list includes a 14 bit A/D conversion (compared to 12 bit currently), live view, EXPEED image processor, self-cleaning sensor, 3″ LCD (up from 2.5″) with higher resolution, and/or 5 fps (up from 3). The company has not even mentioned that it is going to bring forth another model in succession to its D80.
