The 2.5-Inch, 230,000-Dot Color LCD Monitor with 170-Degree Wide-Angle enables easier operating and offers 3 colorful display options to choose from.

The D40X features a fast startup of 0.18 seconds with a jiffy shutter and speedy shooting capability up to 3 frames per second. Additionally it also offers Nikon 3D Color Matrix Metering II to evaluate the perfect brightness, color, contrast etc. for the picture with Accurate 3-Area Autofocus and advanced Image Optimization Options.

Its Built-in Speedlight with i-TTL Automatic Flash Control takes care of low-light areas to provide perfect exposure for a brilliant finish.
