Camera.Co.Uk has reviewed the Nikon Coolpix P4 and gives it a thumbs up for its colors and lack of red-eye. However the digicam suffers from shutter lag which is quite irritating.

The 8.1MP Nikon Coolpix P4 features a vivid and clear 2.5 inch LCD and the renowned 3.5x Zoom-Nikkor Glass Lens which prints images up to 20 x 30 inches. It also features the Nikon Vibration Reduction (VR) system which produces steady and stable images at high shutter speeds. While the VR Normal compensates for minor movements the VR Active compensates for heavy movements. Nikon has kept in mind the serious photographer and thus incorporated a 10-Step Aperture Priority Mode and Scene modes like Auto, Programmed Auto, Aperture Priority Auto Mode, 9 Advanced Scene Modes, 7 Scene Modes and the BSS which saves the best shot automatically from up to 10 sequential shots. The camera is also USB and PictBridge Compatible and the Wi-Fi feature helps to transfer images to a computer .

The review ends by saying "The Nikon Coolpix P4 is a middle of the road point and shoot digital camera. It offers plenty of megapixels and takes a decent photo in most situations. The lack of red eye in the indoor shots is likely to appeal to many people."
