Novoflex Releases An Adapter For Making Nikon Lenses Compatible With A Canon Camera

Recently, German accessories company Novoflex released a new adapter that provides aperture control, stop-down metering and aperture-priority shooting with G series Nikon lenses on Canon EOS SLR cameras. Cameratown reports that the adapter is operated by a lever on its side, which enables aperture control for G series even though they don’t have an aperture ring. Interestingly enough, older adapters have already been on the market that deliver functionality for Nikon lenses outside of the G series.

So, the Novoflex Adapter allows Nikon enthusiasts to use their F-mount lenses on a Canon camera such as the EOS 5D Mark II and Canon owners can also use the accessory to make Nikon lenses compatible with their cameras. Thus, this EOS/NIK NT adapter can be ordered directly from Novoflex if you happen to live in Europe. However, HP Marketing Corp is the provider that markets the Novoflex Adapter for residents of the U.S.
