Kyocera KJ4 fastest inkjet printhead in World

Kyocera Corporation unveiled the world’s fastest inkjet printhead KJ4 with 150metres per minute at 600dpi output or 200 metres/min at 600x480 dpi. Spanning 4.25” KJ4 delivers true to life prints at exceptional speed and resolution.
Based on extensive printhead technologies, the actuator and nozzles of drop-on-demand inkjet printhead work together efficiently. Simplified equipment configuration is achieved as it allows designs with fewer heads. Print on any material – paper, cloth or plastic as KJ4 supports UV ink and waterborne pigment ink.
With 2,656 nozzles/head, 4.25” of print width and a resolution of 600 dpi x 600 dpi, the KJ4 utilizes Piezoelectric DOD Line Inkjet Printhead, the droplet size varies from 4 pL to 21 pL. With the price not yet out, it will create waves in the market for sure.
