Polycom, Inc. today presented Polycom HDX 7000 series which adds to the existing high-definition Polycom HDX video collaboration solutions. The series integrates UltimateHD technology to combine high audio, video and sharing capabilities in a compact size. The Polycom HDX 7000 series takes small and medium-sized conferences to a new level with the UltimateHD experience.

The Polycom HDX series includes the newly released Polycom Lost Packet Recovery™ (LPR™) technology. Now, IP video calls will not suffer from sever damage done by packet loss resulting in better, faster and more reliable network transmission.

The Polycom HDX 7000 series will be available for purchase in March; however orders are being accepted right away. The Polycom HDX 7001 (SD version) has been listed at US$7,999 and HDX 7002 (HD version) is priced at US$9,499.
