Tenable Nessus 3.2 Security Scanner
Tenable Network Security, the well-known leader in unified security monitoring and the maker of the award-winning Nessus vulnerability scanner, has recently launched the Nessus version 3.2 for use of general consumers around the world. Featuring high-speed discovery, asset profiling, configuration auditing and sensitive data discovery, Tenable’s Nessus vulnerability scanner is already a hit in the market and the same is expected out of the new Nessus 3.2 Security Scanner.
Tenable’s Nessus 3.2 allows users to gain access to many new advanced features extending its enterprise advantage in compliance auditing and conducting security. This new scanner is capable of supporting Ipv6 security auditing and comes with an improved control of network bandwidth usage during scanning.

Its Granular access control is capable of ruling to limit users to specific ports and audits. Moreover, 3.2 Security Scanner comes with an extended Nessus Server capability to query remote Microsoft Windows systems with native support of the Windows Management Instrumentation protocol WMI. Apart from this, it also supports unified configuration, target and results format.
This new scanner from Tenable supports various operating systems like Windows (Microsoft), Solaris (Sun), Linux (RedHat, Novell), FreeBSD and Mac OS X (Apple). Tenable 3.2 Security Scanner will soon be available in a store near you.
