Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, folks, a huge new array of digital cameras will be offered from Office Depot, and they’re juggling their displays around now to get ready to accommodate the new influx.

Cameras from makers like Canon, Kodak, Nikon and Sony, fully twenty four new models in all, will be on display to help customers quickly and easily select their camera needs.  Word from Office Depot itself goes something like this:

“Whether you are a small business in need of a camera for the office, or a seasoned photographer looking for a professional-quality product, Office Depot has a large assortment of digital cameras to select from,” said Steve Mahurin, the chain’s merchandising executive VP. “With the expanded product selection and simplified shopping experience, Office Depot customers will find the product they want quickly and at a great value.”

This is probably a good move for Office Depot, which has long been regarded as the redheaded stepchild of the industry behind OfficeMax, and, as such, could definitely use a shot in the arm to get up the marketing back in play, especially with the official start of the Christmas shopping season just over a week away.
