Olympus E-620 DSLR Review–An Impressive DSLR
I’ve got another interesting Olympus DSLR to talk about today, and even though the price is going to be pretty sizable, in the end, I think you’ll find it as worthwhile to have a look at as I did. Today we’re talking about the Olympus E-620, and it’s pretty impressive.
The Olympus E-620 is a twelve megapixel DSLR with a mount sufficient to mount several different lenses, a 2.7 inch color HyperCrystal swivel TFT-LCD monitor with fifteen levels of brightness AND fifteen levels of color control to make quite sure that what you see is as close to what you get as is technologically possible. Plus, you’ll also get the TruePic III+ image processor, the Olympus dust reduction system to keep dust out of the shot, face detection, three in-body image stabilizer modes, shadow adjustment technology, a variety of scene, white balance, color and exposure modes along with art filters, seven point twin autofocus, auto flash, dual media slots for CompactFlash Type I/II, Microdrive and xD-Picture cards and a USB port.
See what I mean? In light of the sheer amount of features this camera’s packing, it’s still not exactly out of line that Best Buy wants an unsettlingly large eight hundred bucks for it. And even that unsettling part is fairly well in line given the cost of other DSLR units, the sheer utility of this camera, and of course, the fact that the controls are smooth and easy to operate.
I’m pretty well impressed by the Olympus E-620, and if you’re looking for a powerful new camera with lots of punch, then chances are you’ll be just as impressed.
