Olympus Launches New FE Cameras: FE-5020, FE-4000, FE-46 and FE-26

Olympus is on a frenzy when it comes to launching new cameras. The company has announced four new FE compact cameras: FE-5020, FE-4000, FE-46 and FE-26 which all follow the “One button, one function” design principle. That means that controlling the camera is a whole lot easier since functions like shooting, playback, viewing pictures and erasing are pretty easy to activate with a single button.

The FE-5020 comes with a 5x super wide optical zoom, a range of Magic Filters (Pop Art, Fish-Eye, Sketch, Pin Hole), a 2.7-inch LCD, AF tracking, i-Auto Mode, Advanced Face Detection Technology and a 12 megapixel shooter.

The FE-4000 is also a 12 megapixel shooter which will offer you a 4x wide optical zoom instead of the 5x zoom of the FE-5020 and it will keep most of the features of the previous model.

The FE-26 comes with a 12 megapixel CCD, 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD while the FE-46 is pretty similar in features but it’s capable of getting you a higher 5x zoom.

The cameras will be available sometime in August but we have no prices for you right now.
