Olympus DP25 Microscope Camera Offers Excellent Color Rendition and 8.4 Frame-Per-Second Performance at Full Resolution

DP25-1.jpgThe Olympus DP25 is a high performing microscope camera which has an onboard resolution of 5-megapixels and is capable of live image preview at a frame rate of 8.4 frames per second (fps). The imaging sensor is a 2/3” 5-megapixel interline Bayer mask CCD and is capable of 4 image resolutions; 2560 x 1920, 1280 x 960, 854 x 640, and 640 x 480.

The Olympus DP25 supports TIFF, JPEG, JPEG2000, AVI, and Photoshop formats and uses the new Olympus DP2-BSW software. Other features include; live shading correction, brightness and contrast adjustments, and pseudo-coloring. One can also annually or automatically adjust the microscope and camera parameters; capture, annotate, and send images; and control access by remote users.
