Olympus E-410 Camera Review
The Olympus E-410 camera has been reviewed by Lets Go Digital and they like it for its compact size, its resolution, its intuitive interface and its reliable anti-dust system. Sometimes the camera suffered from image noise and images were found to be on the soft side.
The E-410 digital SLR camera has the distinction of being the world's smallest, slimmest and lightest* interchangeable-lens digital SLR camera. The Olympus E-410 will be available by the end of April 2007 and includes Dedicated Digital Design," "Dust Reduction" and "Live View" functions. The camera measures 129.5 x 91 x 53 mm and weighs 375 grams. It includes a newly developed 10-million pixel Live MOS sensor with low noise and low power consumption and also has the now popular ”Live View‘ function which allows users to frame images while viewing the subjects on the LCD monitor. Auto-focusing can also be done in conjunction with Live View monitoring.
In the end the website writes "The moment it globally sunk in that the first real digital compact SLR camera - the Olympus E-400 - would not be available worldwide, everybody was disappointed. But with the worldwide introduction of the Olympus E-410 Olympus certainly made up for it. Not only the global availability distinguishes the Olympus E-410 from the rest but also its specifications have definitely been improved. The compact size remained the same for the E-410 but the camera's interior has certainly been worked at in this short period of a couple of months. Firstly the image sensor that was delivered by Kodak has now been delivered by Panasonic for the Olympus E410. The 10 Megapixels of resolution stayed on and is largely sufficient to get along with in the busy segment that the Olympus E410 is positioned."
