Olympus FE250 Digital Camera
Another new point and shooter to emerge from the stables of Olympus is the Olympus FE-250 which has a 8.0 Megapixel CCD and is just 16.7mm. The FGE-250 is ideal for first time and advance users as one comes across quite a comprehensive feature set.
The Olympus FE-250 has been outfitted with a 6.4cm LCD and is the first in its series to incorporate Olympus’ own BrightCapture Technology. Users will also dig the 3x optical zoom (equiv. to 35-105mm on a 35mm model) and the One button, one function” design principle. The internal memory of the digicam can be extended via xD Picture cards and Movie recording with sound is also possible.
The FE-250 has 15 scene modes and eight shooting programs. ISO settings go up to 10,000 in 3MP mode and Candle or Indoor modes lets one indulge in some good old night photography. The camera also comes bundled with the Olympus Master software which can edit, view and archive photos on a computer. The Olympus FE-250 will be available from camera shops in February 2007, with an estimated High Street price of £200.00.
