Olympus Stylus 750 Digital Camera Review
Pop Photo were able to get their hands on Olympus Stylus 750 and they give it brownie points for its 5x image-stabilized optical zoom, quick Start-up, its compact and all weather body and its built in help guide. However they were not impressed by its LCD which was unreadable in the sunlight and the digicam also lacked a viewfinder.
The 750 has a 7.1 Mega pixel resolution has sports a 2.5 inch LCD. The main selling point of the camera is no doubt its all-weather durability which means you can use this in a number of dynamic environments. The camera also has a transparent polycarbonate that locks out water and you can use it in 40 meters of water. One will also come across features like red-eye removal, resize, color saturation etc.The Olympus Stylus 750 has a very nifty little feature called Bright Capture Movie setting which lets you automatically adjusts the settings when you go from bright light to dark light or vice versa. There is a movie Mode too and movies can be captured in VGA format.
The website ends the review by writing “Overall, we were happy with the images produced by the 7.1-megapixel CCD sensor. On-screen the photos appear sharp and vivid. In addition, they can be output to large-formats -- up to poster sizes as large as 15 x 20 inches. We think users will enjoy the 750's thin, sleek, take anywhere, all-weather design and the powerful 5x optical zoom.”
