Olympus America introduced their latest high-performance super-telescopic zoom lens, ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD. With an advanced autofocus system the lens covers a great zoom range of 100mm to 400mm, equivalent to a 35mm camera lens. Using the Supersonic Wave Drive technology it achieves two times faster AF than the previous ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 model and also maintains clarity of the picture by reducing image blur at the maximum focal length. The digital-dedicated design ensures quality output and close-up shooting ability from the minimum distance of 1.2 meters. The ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD shall be available for sale by December 2007 at the suggested price of $1,199.99.
