One Minute With A Droid Camera

So you may or may not have heard about the Droid, a camera phone from a strange bedfellows coalition that is Verizon and Google, but by all reports, this sucker’s something else.

In fact, I just found video a matter of hours ago involving the Droid–someone took a one minute long test video with their Droid’s camera, and this was the end result.

One thing you’ll notice right off is how clear the video is.  There’s virtually no pixellation in there at all, and nary an artifact to be had, even in motion.  And there’s plenty of motion to be had there, being as we’re getting footage from inside a subway.  The visual quality is fantastic, even the sound recording is pretty good, and everything’s even better when you consider that this isn’t a camcorder, or even a digital camera, but a camera phone taking these images.

I’m truly impressed by the footage from the droid, and in all honesty, you should be too.
