Citizen unveiled its reliable and rugged CL-S700 Series bar code and label printer. While the steel frame and cabinet adds to the ruggedness, the Ethernet and Wireless LAN with parallel, series and USB interface adds to the versatility. Consisting of a Cross-Emulation control board, the CL-S700 came as a boon in inventory, shipping and logistics.

The front loading and unloading with Hi-Open design makes it easy to use. Not only this, it houses 450metres long ribbon, which can wound inside or outside. The ARCP (Active Ribbon Control and Positioning) removes wrinkles in ribbon and media slippage. Compatible with Win XP, Vista and 2000, the printer is currently shipping with label making software. The printer opens vertically at 90 degrees and fits even the smallest of space.

Though the price is not disclosed yet but the printer will surely create waves.
