Intermec PF8 series Printers

Intermec announced the release of their new series of compact printers, the PF8 series especially designed to meet the requirements of space-restricted applications. The series is available in thermal transfer (PF8t) or direct thermal (PF8d) versions and prints at a high speed up to four inches per second. The series includes a Connect to Print kit with software, drivers and cables for easy printer set-up, it also features the largest ribbon capacity in its class and a powerful 32-bit RISC processor for rapid management graphic-intensive label formats. The series suppoprts a wide variety of 1D and 2D symbologies, including DataMatrix and QR codes with a high resolution of either 203 or 300 dots-per-inch. The PF8t is available now worldwide with the PF8d following in November 2007.
