Numerous factors including ergonomics, level of innovation, product life, materials used, manufacturing technology and energy consumption are considered while evaluation.

North-Rhine Westphalia Design Zentrum will present the award at a gala event in Essen’s Opera House on June 23rd. The fifth MINOX red dot member competed with 3202 other contestants from 51 countries for the prestigious honor.
