The printer will benefit customers in architecture, engineering, reprographics, GIS and retail through crispy, high resolution output. The first printer to integrate Oce's CrystalPoint allows consumers to generate superior prints on lower cost untreated and recycled paper. Unlike most color wide-format printers, Oce 600 prints an E-size sheet (12 square-feet) in half a minute and saves a considerable amount of crucial time for the business.

Through the innovative Oce CrystalPoint Technology, Oce ColorWave 600 combines best of both toner and inkjet printing for high-class results. In the CrystalPoint process Océ TonerPearls color toner is transformed into a gel which is then jetted and crystallized onto any type of paper. This enables crispier, water fast, long-lasting prints with accurate dot placement. The Oce CrystalPoint Technology is completely environment friendly with no emissions of ozone, odor or fine powder.

The Oce ColorWave 600 Color Printer was showcased in The Netherlands and will be debuted in the US at the IRgA 2008 Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV, May 13-15.
