Oce presented its TCS4XT, the new large format color scanner. Resembling the powerful Oce TC4, the scanner performs monochrome and full color scanning with rigid inputs as thick as 0.6-inches. It efficiently scans documents at 600 dpi resolution in monochrome at 16 scans per minute. The scanner includes a 10-inch feeding table, a retractable 30-inch receiving table to support thick originals scanning. However, it also features a special lever at the scanner to manage originals thicker than 0.12-inches. The device is perfect for reprographers and government users involved in mounting maps or legal booklets or electronic distribution and archiving. The Oce TCS4XT scanning solution has been integrated as a part in the Oce TDS450, the Oce TDS700 and the Oce TCS500 multifunction systems.
