Red unveiled its new 5K EPIC camcorder at the NAB conference 2008. The stylish camcorder boasts a 6 pound aluminum body with a hybrid stainless pl mount. It integrates full frame s35mm mysterium x sensor to capture high resolution output at upto 100 frames per second. The camcorder can be connected to a flash drive for transfer of data at up to 100MB per second. Other features include full size dual link HD-SDI, 2-XLR audio inputs and HDMI ports, Wi-Fi control, Firewire 800 and USB 2 interface.
