Red has finally launched its wonderful Scarlet 3K Camera. Capable of shooting in heady 3K resolution, this new camera features Red’s new 2/3 inch Mysterium X Sensor. It can shoot from 1-120fps and up to 100MB/sec REDCORE RAW HD.

Red’s Scarlet 3K Camera comes fitted with an 8x T2.8 Red zoom lens and it is compatible with almost all Red One accessories. Scarlet Camera incorporates Wi-Fi control and all the ports for HDMI, HD-SDI, Firewire 800 and USB2.

Sporting a 4.8-inch LCD, this new camera from Red offers full auto or full manual shooting modes to the user. Red’s Scarlet 3X Camera will be available in the market in the first quarter of 2009 at an estimated price of $ 3000.
