The Voigtlander XM 7.0 is a 7 megapixel digicam with 3x optical zoom with a focal length of 37.5 - 112.5mm (equiv. 35 mm format camera). The camera measures 6 x 59 x 20 mm and is equipped with a 3.0-inch large format LCD monitor.

For the uninitiated, Voigtlander is well -established brand in Germany and has a number of well thought out modern digicams up its sleeve. The XM 7.0 has an internal memory of 32MB which of course can be expanded via the memory card. Photos can be captured in the following resolutions 3072x2304 / 2560x1920 / 2048x1536 /1600x1200 / 640x480 and videos in 640 x 480.

Other features include; Shutter speed: 1 - 1/1000 sec, Exposure compensation -2 - +2 EV with 1/3 step, Auto flash, fill-in flash, flash off, red-eye reduction, Auto white balance and 5 settings, Self timer 10, 2 sec., 10 + 2 sec, DC-in, USB 2.0 and AV-out interface and a Lithium Ion battery.
