Voigtlaender announced a new camera recently and this one is ideal for those who want an affordable solution. The new Voigtlaender 7.1 megapixel Virtus W-7 digital compact camera is housed in a black casing and includes a wide-angle 4x optical zoom (equivalent 28 - 112mm on a 35mm camera) with Image Stabilizer technology.

The camera will see only an European release and one also comes across features like; 3“ LTPS-TFT LCD, USB 2.0, A/V Out (NTSC/PAL), DC-IN, PictBridge and SD/SDHC storage card up to 4 GB with 32 MB internal memory (approx. 26 MB for image store).
