With an aim to increase its already existing wide-format color printer series, Xerox has come up with its latest 8265 printer. Offering a wide range of color indoor and outdoor applications, this printer uses environmentally friendly eco-solvent inks that are durable for use up to 3 years.

Xerox 8265 is capable of producing more in much less time, in other words it delivers high quality color wide format images of resolution up to 1440 dpi at an exceptional speed of 215 square feet per hour. With this printer, users can print on any media type that is as 65 inches in width like banners, floor graphics and life-size photographs.

“When Xerox approached us with the 8265, it looked like a great opportunity to capture both pieces of the wide-format market with one piece of equipment,” said Jason Morales, information systems manager, Digitech Publishing, Inc. “The Xerox printer has allowed us to do that. We can satisfy both niches with faster speeds, lower costs and exceptional quality.”

Users can choose from any of its four or six color ink sets depending on their application. It offers 360, 540, 720 and 1440 dpi to choose for flexibility in speed and high image quality. This highly compatible printer is specially designed for commercial and in-plant operations. Xerox 8265 will soon be available in the market at an estimated price of $28,200.
