Xerox Corporation unveiled its new DocuMate 262i Scanner, an ideal device to scan ID cards, business cards or other heavy card stock. With roots in the award-winning array, the scanner integrates ultrasonic double-feed technology to alert the user on double feeding of originals during scanning. The efficient desktop scanner gives results 50 percent faster than other competitive devices.

The DocuMate 262i scans up to 76 images per minute and implements Visioneer OneTouch scanning technology to simplify transfers of scanned documents to other devices in notable formats. It also includes the patent-pending front-feed tray which not only increases overall efficiency but, also reduces roll wear by 60 percent. For added convenience, the complete package is accompanied by Kofax® VirtualReScan™ (VRS) version 4.2 software for customization and higher accuracy.
