Panasonic 70X SDR-S26
Before you prejudge a flash camcorder, make sure you get all the features that they have to offer. Like in the case of the Panasonic SDR-S26, you may be surprised to note that it can accommodate as much as a 70X optical zoom.
This is clearly making heads shake in disbelief as a flash camcorder, known not to exceed 10x or 12x, being capable of a 70X zoom. And that is not all you can expect from this Panasonic’s 70X SDR-S26. Among its standout features include the recovery rate of regaining focus once it zooms in.
It has a cylindrical black body; sleek, but ordinary. It also has a simple smattering of buttons on the backside, and on the inside when you open the LCD.
Priced at $329, this camcorder is slated to be made available by April, 2009.
