Panasonic is proud to present its newest touch-screen LUMIX DMC-FX580 Digital Camera. This slim and stylish camera is considered as a successor to the last year’s DMC-FX500. Featuring a 5x optical zoom and a 12.1 mega pixel CMOS sensor, this camera uses the popular touch-screen operation to provide the users with an ease in operation.
The new Panasonic DMC-FX580 Digital Camera comes fitted with a 3.0-inch LCD screen. It uses a hybrid operation system that combines the new touch-screen interface and a conventional operation system with the cursor key for an intuitive control. Feel free to set the Auto Focus and Auto Exposure functions of this camera at the desired part of the frame.
Panasonic’s DMC-FX580 Digital Camera features MEGA O.I.S, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent Scene Selection and other advanced technologies and functionalities. It comes incorporating a newly developed Venus Engine V Processor that provides a high performance and high speed along with low-power consumption. It delivers a high definition of 1280 x 720p at 30fps. It is priced at $399.95 and is expected to be available for sale from April 2009.
