Panasonic DMC FZ7K Camera Review–Huge But Cool
Sometimes you run into a camera that’s got the strangest overall design, and that by itself is enough to make ti worth talking about. The Panasonic DMCFZ7K falls easily into this category.
The Panasonic DMCFZ7K is a 7.2 megapixel camera with image stabilizer systems, a two and a half inch LCD screen, intelligent ISO Control systems to reduce image blur, VGA movie recording ability, compatibility with SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards as well as a full twenty seven megs of onboard memory.
Yes, this camera is unsettlingly large, but it’s also got an interesting modular flash–I say modular in that it can actually flip up when you want to take a picture. That’s a small detail I found interesting enough. But the problem comes in when you consider the overall package. This is, let’s not forget, about a seven megapixel camera with onboard memory that costs THREE HUNDRED BUCKS. Even just in terms of resolution you can do better. I’m not exactly sure this one’s the best value for what they’re asking for it, but it does offer quite a bit. Consider this Panasonic carefully before you buy.
