Panasonic FH22 Camera Review–Good Value
Panasonic is not a brand of camera I get a look at very often. In a world packed with Sonys and Nikons and Kodaks, those other brands seldom get to the forefront of things. So in a bid to give some equal time, today we’ve got a Panasonic to check out–the Panasonic FH22.
The Panasonic FH22 is a fourteen megapixel digital camera that offers an 8x optical zoom with an augmenting 4x digital zoom, a three inch LCD touchscreen display, a variety of scene and white balance modes, an intelligent scene selector that selects the most appropriate scene mode based on conditions, a nine-point autofocus, built-in auto flash, video shooting capability, forty megs of onboard memory with compatibility with Secure Digital memory cards, a USB port and direct printing capability.
You can see right off there’s a lot to like here. Great resolution, onboard memory, plenty of features and a terrific zoom come together to make an excellent quality camera. Though again, it suffers from a slim design that may pose some challenges in ease of use, there’s more than enough here to make up for that.
And the price isn’t even that bad–it rings in at just under two hundred bucks at Best Buy, which considering the resolution and other features is actually pretty good. The Panasonic FH22 is going to put a lot of value in a decently-priced package, so if you’re in the market, this could be a pretty good buy for you.
