Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700, the first 1080/60p camcorders

Panasonic has recently announced both the HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700, which are apparently the world’s first 1080/60p camcorders. It uses advaned 3MOS technology that “produces vivid, true-to-life colors and excels in darkly-lit environments”. They can also support SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, which means that SDXC can add up to 64GB worth of memory. They also have 12x optical zoom, 5.1 surround sound, a 3-inch touchscreen, and a 35mm wide-angle Leica lenses.
The difference between the two is that the HDC-HS700 has 240GB and 102 hours of recording. As for the HDC-TM700 it has 32GB, which is good enough for 13 hours and 40 minutes of recording.
I’m not certain when this will be out in America, but in Japan, the TM700 costs $1,680 and will be on sale March 10th.
