Panasonic HDCTM15 Camcorder Review–Not The Simplest

I did not have a very easy time with the Panasonic HDCTM15.  I’m not sure why, I was just having a rough time getting the controls down.  Maybe I didn’t spend enough time with it.  Maybe I didn’t raise it right when it was a little camcorder.  I don’t know.  All I know is that I’ve never fumbled around with a camcorder quite as much as I did with the Panasonic HDCTM15.

The Panasonic HDCTM15 offers sixteen gig of onboard memory, a 16x optical zoom, a 2.7 inch LCD display, image stabilization, a special night recording feature, still image capture capability, built in two-channel Dolby Digital audio microphone, and included editing software.

You can see that there aren’t a whole lot of features in here, but the zoom has a good long reach with small print visible from about a hundred feet out.  If you’re willing to get past an unusually steep learning curve then the Panasonic HDCTM15 should serve your needs nicely.  Be prepared to shell out, though–Best Buy wants a whopping five hundred and fifty bucks for this beast.
