Panasonic Launches Lumix DMC-FS15 and DMC-FS7




Panasonic has launched two new Lumix cameras, the DMC-FS15 and DMC-FS7. The DMC-FS15 has a 12.1 megapixel sensor, a 29mm wide-angle, 5x zoom lens with Mega optical image stabilization, intelligent ISO and exposure, face detection and AF tracking for locking to moving ssubjects. The iA button will get you quick access to the Intelligent Auto Mode which will help you take those better pictures you were looking for.

The other model, the DMC-FS7 comes wit a 10.1 megapixel sensor, and a 4x zoom. Unfortunately this model will not offer auto exposure and AF tracking.

Both cameras will come with the Venus Engine IV image processor and an auto-adjusting LCD. As for video recording, these two Lumix cameras will record WVGA video at 30 fps in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both models will arrive in March. The FS15 will cost $200 while the FS7 will cost only $160.
