Panasonic continues to expand its Lumix compact camera family by introducing two new additions, the DMC-FP3 and DMC-FP1 ultra slim digital camera. The Lumix DMC-FP3 is a 14.1-megapixel camera that sports a 3.0” touch-screen LCD, while the Lumix DMC-FP1 is a 12.1-megapixel camera with a 2.7” 230,000-dot LCD.

Both the Lumix DMC-FP3 and DMC-FP1 ultra slim digital camera features 4x optical zoom and the iA (intelligent auto) mode that includes the MEGA Optical Image Stabilization, Face Detection, Intelligent ISO Control and Intelligent Scene Selector. The cameras support SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards. They are capable of recording 1280×720p HD video at 30fps, WVGA (848 x 480) and normal VGA (640 x 480) video.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 will be available in silver, black and navy, while, the Lumix DMC-FP1 will be available in silver, black, red, blue and pink.
