Panasonic Lumix DMX-FX580 Touch-Screen Camera

The Panasonic Lumix DMX-FX580 holds some similarities to the Panasonic FX48. While these may be almost 100% similar, one striking standout that the FX580 has over its predecessor is the 3.0 in-touch screen.
The FX580 has what Panasonic calls a “hybrid operating system” letting you use a standard cursor key system for some settings, while leaving shooting options for touch control. Things such as adjusting white balance or selecting subjects to focus on are done by touching the screen.
It also boasts of a Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto feature which allows users to register frequently snapped faces with names so that the camera will properly expose and focus on who’s important.
It is expected to be released in April at a price of $399.99.
