camera of the year 2008 Panasonic is proud to see its LUMIX DMC-G1 camera getting awarded as the 2008 Camera of the Year award by Popular Photography & Imaging, the world’s largest imaging magazine. LUMIX DMC-G1, also known as the World’s first Micro Four Thirds digital camera has been recognized as a forward-thinking product.

It comes fitted with a perfect image sensor that has been reduced from 40mm to 20mm. It is priced at $799.95 and it is available in three elegant colors including, red, blue and black.
