Panasonic has announced the latest addition of LUMIX TS10 to its TS-Series of rugged digital camera. Featuring a slim, flat profile, it is ideal for active users looking for a versatile yet affordable camera for outdoor use.

The LUMIX TS10 is a 14.1 megapixel camera that sports a folded optics design with a 4x optical zoom lens. The best part is that it is waterproof to approximately 10 feet, shockproof to 5 feet, freezeproof to 14 degrees F and dustproof. The camera further comes with a silicone jacket that helps prevent scratches. Other outstanding features of the LUMIX TS10 include Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, MEGA O.I.S., Face Detection mode, automatic Intelligent Scene Selector and Quick AF system for better focus on the subject. For comfortable viewing, it features an easy-to-see, 2.7-inch 230,000-dot Intelligent LCD.

The Panasonic LUMIX TS10 will be available in mid-September in a choice of blue, red, black and silver colour at SRP of $249.95.
