Panasonic Offers The Lumix DMC-FX700 As A Portable, Power-Packed HD Camera



If you’re interested in portable, digital cameras that fit conveniently in your pocket, then check out the new Lumix DMC-FX700 from Panasonic. It’s packing a f2.2, 24mm-equivalent ultrawide-angle lens with a 5x zoom, three inch touch screen, and 14 mega-pixel MOS sensor. The FX700 also has a a full HD 1080p video mode that’s able to record in AVCHD at 30 frames per second at up to 17Mbps. In addition to this, the camera’s got a full-resolution burst mode at 10 frames per second for at least fifteen shots and a handheld low-light feature to minimize noise and blur.

Furthermore, the FX700 is equipped with Panasonic’s patented Intelligent Auto technology. This consists of Power O.I.S. image stabilization, Face Recognition, Face Detection, AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector, and Intelligent Exposure. Now that’s a lot to offer in one, small digital camera, which is measured at 4.1 inches wide by 2.2 inches high by 1 inch deep and weighs 6.2 (including the battery and SD card). Speaking of SD card, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 is compatible with SDHC and SDXC memory cards as well and it’s due to be released in late August for $399.95.
