Panasonic Plans To Launch A Series Of New Projectors
Panasonic is gearing up to launch three new projectors known as the PT-DZ110X, PT-DS100X and PT-DW100X. These projectors will be able to deliver a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. However, the DZ110X and DS100X are designed to provide up to 10,600 ANSI lumens while the DW100X will be handling about 9,600 ANSI lumens. More specifically, the DW100X is the smallest of the three upcoming models with a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution but the DZ110X is certainly the big one, packing WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution in HD. So, that leaves the DS100X somewhere in between with an SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. Currently, there is no information available about prices but these Panasonic projectors are scheduled to debut in Europe this coming August. Thus, we’ll see how long it takes before they actually arrive in the U.S. for retail.
