Panasonic seems ready to launch a bunch o cameras, although we have no idea when they will become official.

Let’s take a brief look at these new 12 megapixel Panasonic cameras. First we have the DMC-FT1 which comes with a 12 megapixel sensor with a 28-128 optically stabilized 4.6x zoom Leica lens and a 2.7-inch LCD. The camera can withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters and 3 meters of waters. It can record 720p video in AVCHD Lite and it will cost €399. The DMC-TZ7 will get you an extra 12x zoom and a 3-inch LCD and it will cost €429. The DMC-TZ6 must be the cheaper of these three priced at €329.

The FX550 comes with a 5x zoom, 720p video capture and a 3-inch touchscreen LCD with haptic feedback. The FX40 comes with a smaller chassis and just a 2.5 inch LCD. Both cameras will cost €299 and we’re going to have more details for you when Panasonic will launch them officially.
