Panasonic is proud to launch its 10 megapixel compact digital camera LUMIX DMC-FS20. Displaying images on 3” 230,000 dot polycrystalline TFT LCD, the FS20 clicks picture with 4x zoom. Offering a sleek, straight-forward look the digital camera weighs 5.3 ounces.

Introduced last year, Panasonic announced that it will start shipping the new Panasonic AG-HMC70 professional shoulder mount camcorder on April 2008. The Panasonic AG-HMC70 was designed for the professional videographers, to be able to deliver full high-definition videos taped on an SD card. It uses MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression as well as AVCHD High Profile video codec, which has the same quality to HDV 1080i but uses half of the bandwidth. The AG-HMC70 is equipped with 12X 38.5mm to 462mm Leica Dicomar wide-angle zoom lens with Op[tical Image Stabilization and one-push Auto Focus. It will sell for its MSRP of US$2,495.

Panasonic reveals that they're close to releasing their new 32GB SDHC (SD High Capacity) Memory card. This memory card which goes by the product name, RP-SDV32GU1K, utilizes the AVHCD format. The new Panasonic 32GB SDHC card can reportedly record up to twelve hours of high-definition video depending upon a number of factors such as the camcorder itself and its bitrate and resolution settings.
