Panasonic recently presented their new BL-C111 Network Camera to provide consumers, the benefit of an enhanced surveillance system. The camera continuously records both MPEG-4 motion clips (VGA, QVGA, and SCIF) and JPEG stills at high resolutions, and simultaneously forwards them for observation. The camera’s MPEG-4 recording feature has been specifically licensed for non-commercial, personal use and allows no other type of usage.

The Panasonic BL-C111 is one of the world’s first Network cameras with standard IPv6 support. Its dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 structure allows communication on both types of channels. The small but powerful built-in microphone captures sounds to enhance the level of security.
