Pandigital PAN7000DW Digital Frame Review–Better Than You’d Expect
You may not have heard the name Pandigital before today–frankly, I hadn’t either; it’s not like they were making any kind of big splash as far as technology went–but you’ll likely be surprised as I was to discover that some of their products are actually pretty nice.
For instance, today we’re talking about the Pandigital PAN7000DW digital photo frame. It’s a seven inch frame in a fairly nice black style, almost plywood (you can’t see much in the way of grain, at least I couldn’t when I got my hands on it) but it still really does look nice. Also, it comes with a gig of memory, a five in one card reader, and alarm, clock, calendar and programmable ON/Off timer, audio, video, bluetooth, and wireless capabilities and options.
Look, once you manage to get past the fact that this is not a widely known system, or a system you’ve likely even heard of lately, you’ll discover that this is actually a really nice piece that offers an incredible value. How incredible? They only cost about sixty five bucks each. And considering that HP was selling one only slightly larger with speakers for double, well, you can see how the Pandigital PAN7000DW is an outstanding value.

Nice frame. In lieu of the Pandigital USB-to-WLAN adapter, I tried to use some of the USB-to-WLAN adapters I had lying around. Worked: Hawking HWU8DD Rev.B Chipset ZYDAS1211B. Did not work: Syntax USB-400 Chipset Intersil PRISM-3.
