Pentax 645D Medium Format DSLR To Be Released in Japan



Pentax has unveiled a new DSLR camera in the market. The Pentax 645D is a medium format DSLR and is the first digital version of the company’s medium format camera system. The Pentax 645D features a 40 megapixel sensor, a 44 x 33 CCD sensor, a 921k pixel 3-inch LCD and compatibility with existing 645 system lenses.

The Pentax 645D DSRL will only be available in Japan and will retail for about $9,400. It is set to come out this May, 2010.
