Pentax H90 Camera Review–Surprisingly Superior Model
Yesterday I had a decent if unimpressive Pentax to talk to you about. But today, I’ve got a new Pentax that’s actually both a little better and a little cheaper, the Pentax H90. You’ll be pretty surprised by what they have to offer here.
The Pentax H90 is a twelve megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom with a supplementary 6.25x digital zoom, a 2.7 inch LCD monitor, Pixel Track Shake Reduction (which, as I said yesterday, is a kind of combination image stabilization and blur reduction system), face detection technology, a variety of scene and white balance modes, nine point autofocus, burst shooting and panorama modes, 32.7 megs of onboard memory with support for Secure Digital memory cards and direct printing capability.
You’ll likely be surprised by the similarities between this and the Pentax I10, but the H90 actually has more memory, comparable controls, and here’s the really interesting part, the H90 sells for a hundred and eighty bucks. So you’re actually getting a better camera for less money, and that may well be the biggest surprise of the whole affair.
So if you’re looking at a new camera, I would definitely suggest you take a look at the Pentax H90 ahead of the I10.
