Pentax has presented a new digital compact camera named Optio RZ10 that should become available for purchase in the UK on October 2010 with a price tag $280.

The main features of the Pentax Optio RZ10 include a 14-megapixel sensor with a 28-280mm equivalent stabilized zoom lens, and being able to record videos on the 720p HD format. Other details include a 2.7-inch LCD screen, being compatible with Eye-Fi wireless memory cards, a 10x zoom lens and the usual dual shake reduction system.

- Digital filters, including Toy Camera and Retro, to add creative visual effects
- Choice of three image sizes (4:3, 16:9 and 1:1) to accommodate different applications
